1) How does this His Dark Materials trailer meet the conventions of a TV drama series? Through an ensemble cast and stereotypical characters 2) What genre (or genres) are suggested by this His Dark Materials trailer? A mix of drama and fantasy 3) What kind of characters and narratives are introduced in this trailer? Two teenagers as the main characters and an adult villain  4) What settings appear in the trailer? A home, a jungle and a village 5) Who do you think the target audience for His Dark Materials is? Give reasons for your answer. Older teenagers or young adults due to the main characters being in that age bracket.

It contains characters in costume with a variety of props and uses a format of seasons and episodes. 2) What genre (or genres) are suggested by this  His Dark Materials  trailer? A fantasy with elements of science fiction  3) What kind of characters and narratives are introduced in this trailer? Two main characters with a villain. 4) What settings appear in the trailer? A lot of the scenes are outside or in dark rooms 5) Who do you think the target audience for   His Dark Materials  is? Give reasons for your answer. Main audience would be directed towards young adults or older children. This is due to the complex storyline as well as the audience relating more to the main characters.
